Obituary For Mr. Johnny Lee Walker

In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mr. Johnny Lee Celebration of Life will be Friday, December 18, 2020 1:00 pm at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel. Viewing will be Friday, December 18, 2020 at 12noon until the hour of service. Lee Walker was born on April 29, 1951 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to the late John Berry and Rubie Mae Walker. He was raised by stepfather, the Lake John Wesley Fowler. He was a very outgoing child that loved to skate, ride his bike, sing and dance. Johnny attended second Mount Vernon Baptist church and was baptized at an early age. He loved to dress well and was known for his style. In 1969, Johnny graduated from Murphy High School where he was a member of the R.O.C.T.

Later, he went to work for General Motors where he retired after 30 years of service. Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, Rubie Mae Fowler, Father, John Berry, stepfather, John Wesley Flower and brother, Calvin I. Fowler. Johnny’s memories will be cherished by his daughter, Latrease Walker Myles; son, Jerquies LyNadrick Walker (Shirita) brothers, Henry Lee Walker (Genette) and Charles Wesley Fowler (Stephaine); sister, Catherine Fowler Denson; Five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
