Sending peace to Lloyd and the family. I have more memories than I can count of and with my "Other Mother". From being packed up and taken to her house so the adults could play cards and whatever else they did, she would pack up Lloyd and Deborah Jean too, to birthdays and graduations. Wine making and baking. Sharing life's stories and often just listening to her when she need me to and when I needed to listen to her. She always listened and shared. I appreciated her advice. She always had a well behaved cat. I will store and hold my memories close and be forever grateful for her presence in my life. Peace, Charmainne Johnson Davis

Dearest Gracie Watt will always have a special place in my heart. I grew up in St. James A.M.E. church in Cleveland. My mother, Anna Marie Johnson, and Gracie were friends. We lived in the same neighborhood and our families spent a lot of time together. Gracie was my "other" mother and I have many fond childhood memories of time spent at her home on Stockbridge. Our bond endured after I became an adult and I recall numerous enjoyable visits with her. I took her wise counsel to heart. She made the best spice cake! I extend love and solace to her son Lloyd and her family in Nashville. Infinite Blessings on your journey dear Gracie! 💙
