Tyler--Graveside service for Mr. Finist Brooks Sr., 74, of Tyler, Texas will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery at 11 am with Rev. Perfice Atkins as eulogist. "MASK ARE REQUIRED". The services are under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company. Mr. Brooks was born on December 6, 1946 and transitioned on December 7, 2020. He graduated from Jackson Heights School, was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and a foreman for John Green Masonary Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, five sisters and one daughter. Those let to cherish his memories are his wife of 47 years, Mary Brooks; two sons, Timothy Sanford (Patricia) and Finist Brooks Jr.; three daughters, Tamekia Smith, Nicole Brooks, and Kizzy Brooks all of Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Wyomia Williams of Kilgore and Betty London of Longview, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the funeral home from 2 pm to 8 pm. Mr.Brooks was born December 6, 1946 and transitioned December 7, 2020.
