Matthew 7:16 says "...by their fruits you shall know them". I did not have the esteem pleasure of meeting or even speaking with Ms. Birdie, yet I knew her. I know one of her most valued fruit, her granddaughter Judine. The values and qualities that Ms Birdie instilled shines through brightly, making known the calibre of Ms Birdie. Over the past five months, Judine has shared so many funny/real/distinct stories about Ms. Birdie, which cements the fact that "I know Ms Birdie". Ms. Birdie is now smiling happily in the presence of her Lord. Family please know that weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning. The Lord called his daughter home, so embrace that by "Cherishing her memories, and keep her legacy that she has imputed into you alive". I pray for God's Peace and Strength to abide with you all as you go through this time of grief. Your Joy awaits in the morning. God Bless... Pauline

Even though I haven't seen my aunt, I remember the days she made me laugh so hard that i cried. She told me stories about back home in her Jamaican dialect, which kept me asking for more. I truly only have one aunt and she was the best. I couldn't have ask for a better one. I remember her and my mom, which is her sister dancing at the seaport. It was one of the best memories. I'll treasure it forever. Laugh laugh laugh now she is laughing with her sister and cousin Pera. I love you dearly and always aunt Birdie. We will meet again one day and laugh all over again. 47 years ago I fell in love with one of God’s finest creation. So gentle, caring, unselfish, meek and strong. Full of life and humor; your compassion showed in all you did. You nourished and guided me to the woman I have become today. You have never failed to make me laugh and you tell it as was. Your genuine, kind and gentle demeanor was always an inspiration to me. You were my biggest cheer leader, cheering me on; raising me with high morals and great support. Your kindness to others I have inherited, your patience, I am still working on, your grace is what I desire. Grandmother you were the best, you saw the best in me, how can I go on without you. Dear God, I thank you for this wonderful grandmother who was a treasure to me; I guess you were ready for her. Thank you Grandmother, I love you dearly…. I am your one and only Judine.

In loving memory of my beautiful, loving aunt. You will be missed dearly. When I think of you I can't help but to put a smile on my face and my heart can't help but to laugh because you were always the aunt that took time out to laugh and joke with us while grandma your sister was in he background disciplining us. We knew while you were there her house would be filled with fun and good times. As you got older, fun was still to be had but most importantly you wanted us to know about our Heavenly Father and his beloved SON. You are truly a disciple of the LORD and i beleive our heavenly FATHER couldn't be more proud of you and couldn't wait another day to wrap his loving arms around his daughter. I also believe grandma, your sister, Precious, your other sister, and your mom and dad are waiting at the heavenly gates greeting you with smiles, and plenty of hugs. You are finally home. And to my Aunt Beverly, Uncle Lloyd, and Uncle Everton, I pray that you rest in GOD's comfort and peace and in the fact that you were blessed with an amazing Mom. We love you dearly! Your Niece Tina
