BERNARD ODELL EVERSON III, 36, of Harrisburg transitioned into eternal life on Sunday, November 29, 2020 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Constance Elaine Scott Bones and the late Bernard Odell Everson, Jr., he was a 2002 graduate of Harrisburg High School and he was an employee of the Center for Employment Opportunities. Bernard loved life, his family, cooking, stimulating conversations, nature and watching the sun rise and set. In addition to his parents, his maternal grandmother, Rachel Beverly Scott and his paternal grandfather, Bernard Odell Everson, Sr., preceded him in transitioning into eternal life. He leaves to celebrate his life and to cherish precious memories of him; his children, Odell Elyah Everson, Constance Marie Everson and London Everson; his siblings, Jeffery Bones, Aleisha Everson, Tonique Everson-Garfield and Eric Everson; his maternal grandfather, Fred Scott “Pop”; his paternal grandmother, Josephine Everson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bernard’s life will be celebrated in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, 704 N. Front St., Steelton at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 with viewing from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Covid 19 guidelines will be observed with masks and six foot social distancing for all attendees of the viewing and service.
