She was born in Catawba County, North Carolina on May 15, 1927 to the late George James and Eunice Henry James. She was married to the late Verlin Finger. She was a faithful member of Poplar Springs A.M.E. Zion Church. She retired form Ridgeview Hoisery.
Survivors are five sons, James Hudson, Verlin Finger, Jr., Ronnie (Patty) Finger all of Lincolnton, North Carolina, Gerald Hudson of White Plains, New York, Rev. Charles (Sherry) Finger of Johnson City, Kansas, one daughter, Barbara J. Craig of Lincolnton, North Carolina, one brother, Frank (Rebecca) James of White Plains, New York
Funeral service is Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in White’s Family Chapel with burial to follow at Poplar Springs A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery. There will be a public walk through on Friday at Poplar Springs A.M.E. Zion Church from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Masks are required for all services.
