I was saddened to learn of the passing of your husband, Brother Robert. I had a very long relationship with him since his arrival on Parker's Ferry, and his subsequent marriage to his lovely wife, Lillie. On several occasions while we both served on Active Duty at Fort Jackson; he would give me a hop back to Ft. Jackson. Over the years I came to know, and respect him as a man of integrity. So, I grieve with you in your time of sorrow. Rev. Dr. Edward L. Holmes, Pastor, Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church, Mullins, S.C. 29774
