Obituary For John Waiters

John Cann “Rev” Waiters, 86, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 7, 2020. He was born April 11, 1934 in Heath Springs, SC. to the late Henry and Bessie Waiters. He was married to the late Elvenue Brown Waiters.

John was educated in the Lancaster County School System.

John was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

John retired from Eastern Airlines.

Left to cherish fond memories are six children, Johnie Mae (Neal) Newman of Jefferson, SC, Howard (Vanessa) Waiters, Iris W. Pringle, Kenneth (Annie) Waiters and Renee (Rufus) Blackmon all of Lancaster, SC. and James (Cynthia) Waiters of Blythewood, SC; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and three great- great grandchildren.

Viewing will be Friday, 3:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at Stewart Funeral Home.

Drive in Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Willie J. Duncan. Private burial will be in the church cemetery.

No Viewing on Saturday at the church.
