James Arthur Jones, 72, was born November 7th1948 and departed this earthly life on December 9th, 2020 at his residence.

James attended Highland High School, Gastonia, North Carolina. He was a retired Truck Driver for Yellow Freight. James served his country in the United States Army, a Vietnam Veteran. James loved his grandchildren, working on cars, and fishing.

James was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Dorothy Werts Jones, father; James Thomas Jones, sister; Phyllis Jones, Grandparents; Eddie Werts, Sr. and Alee Werts, Robert and Bertha Wilson, Aunts; Sarah B. Milton, Rosetta W. Patterson, Doris W. Neely, and Uncle; Eddie Wert, Jr.
