Edward Lee "Cool" Forrest life came to an end on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the age of 72 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. Edward was born June 28, 1948 in Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee to the parents of Julia Mary Roberts and Alex Esmon, II.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sadie Forrest; sons, Antonio Forrest and Marcus Forrest; daughter, Tamika Forrest; grandchildren, Raymond Krouse, Brianna Krouse, Darren Krouse, Alicia Krouse, Julius Waters, Antonio Forrest, Demetrius Waters, Ella Swartz and Jade Swartz; great grandchildren, Laelynn Waters and Ashlynn Holly; sister, Ethel Scruggs; brothers, Alex Esmon, III, Jerry (Patricia) Scruggs, John Scruggs and James Thomas; sister-in-law, Willie Mae Hardeman; brothers-in-law, Howard Walker, Harry Walker, Michael Walker and Leroy Walker; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Forrest will lie in state on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 2 until 5 at the funeral home.

*** Due to COVID-19 there is a limit of how many people can enter the chapel at a time but everyone will be allowed to flow in to view as well as speak to the family and flow back out to allow others the same opportunity. In order to enter the funeral home for viewing you MUST have on a mask and gloves per new regulation for the funeral home. You are responsible for supplying your own masks and gloves as well ***

Visitation with family Friday, December 18, 2020 from 12 until 1 at West Harpeth Primitive Baptist Church, 4141 Columbia Avenue with funeral to follow.

Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Franklin, Tennessee
