Geraldine was a member of Bright Light Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of Liberty Chapter #149 Order of the Eastern Star in Liberty Hill, SC.
Geraldine was educated in the Lancaster County School System. She retired from Springs Inc.
Geraldine was united in holy matrimony to the late David Lee Flowers.
Left to celebrate her life are two daughters, Melissa A. Tate and Monique T. McDow (Barry) of Heath Springs, SC; three sons, Mandrea L. Tate of Charlotte, NC, James D. Flowers (Arleen) of Arlington, TX, and John D. Flowers (Dave) of York Haven, PA; an adopted son, Derrick L. Tate of Red Oak, TX; five sisters, Eloise T. Perry of Virginia Beach, VA, Hattie T. Grant of Heath Springs, SC, Cheryl T. Wade of Charlotte, NC, Angela T. Jones (Bruce) of Lancaster, SC and Isabelle D. Watts (Phil) of Fort Mill, SC; three brothers, Carl F. Tate of Paterson, NJ, Willie J. Tate of Charlotte, NC, and Jerry Patterson of Lancaster, SC; one uncle, Olden C. Tate (Katherine) of Lancaster, SC; two grandsons; three granddaughters; two great granddaughters; one great grandson and one great-great granddaughter.
Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Bright Light Baptist Church by Reverend William S. Coleman.
Viewing will be 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Friday at Stewart Funeral Home.
