Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., Autumn Woods Cemetery, 4000 W. Northside Drive, Jackson, MS 39209.

The life of Leopold Collins Sr. began on March 24,2020 in Pocahontas, MS. He was the middle child to seven siblings. Leopold was born to the parents of Wesley Collins and Lousia Love. He attended Provine High School of Jackson, MS and Summer Hill of Clinton, MS. Leopold did fulfill work as a brick mason. Leopold was a very caring and generous man. He was a man that helped every and anyone who needed it. He never met a stranger and will be truly missed by all who knew him. On an early Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 4:40 a.m. in his home, Leopold departed his earthly life. Leopold lost his battle to cancer. Leopold, better known as “Po” to family and friends, was beyond blessed by the love and devotion of his family. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife (Loretta), three children (Latoya, Nicole, and Leopold Jr.), two grandchildren (Christopher and Quency), a brother (Cleveland) and a sister (Beatrice). Leopold was preceded by his beloved father (Wesley Sr.), mother (Louisa), and brothers (Fred, Bonnille, Cornelius, Wesley, and John). He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
