Dustin Bryson

Dustin Romiah Bryson “Romiah Armstrong”, 36, of Atlanta, GA (native of Elkton, FL) was born February 5, 1984, to Saundra Bryson-Borgo. He quietly and peacefully departed on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 while vacationing in Vail, Colorado. Dustin received his education in the St. John County Public School System, graduating from Pedro Menendez High School, Class of 2002. Subsequently, he furthered his education at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and sustained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Upon completing college, Dustin moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He was employed with Hire Velocity in Atlanta, Georgia. His most recent accomplishment was being the proud owner of a brokering company that he proudly named “Odessit Freight and Logistics, LLC” which was named in honor of his beloved grandparents. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Armstrong, FL. Dustin enjoyed life; he loved being the country boy concept and valued his community so much. He adored life and was always taking on a new adventure. His love for muscle cars brought him joy. Dustin loved music and successfully taught himself how to play the keyboard and the acoustic guitar. He became a songwriter, creating lyrics for many performers and produced his own CD titled “Upright Soul” released in 2011. Dustin loved nature and was an avid outdoor sportsman, whether fishing, snorkeling, hiking or enjoying time at the shooting range with his friends. He also became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) club in Atlanta, where he was training for his second fight.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Emmit Sr.; first cousin, Jason; and uncle, Reginald Johnson I.
Precious memories will forever live in the hearts of his mother, Saundra (Ronnie); grandmother,Odessa; brother, Brandon (Ashley); companion, Simone Clarke (who he planned to propose to on December 22, 2020); nieces and nephew, Madison, Mya, and Brandon Jr.; uncles and aunties, Emmit Jr. (Beverly), Sylvester, Alfreda, and Karen; special aunties, Marlyn Mathis and Michelle Johnson; godson, London Lewis. He is also survived by a host of loving and devoted cousins and friends.
The Bryson Family will receive the community and friends on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the St. John’s County Fairgrounds, Elkton, FL. The Homegoing Celebration will be 1:00p.m. Dustin’s burial will be in Armstrong Community Cemetery, Elkton, FL. The service will also be live-streamed on “Colemans Mortuary” Facebook page.
