Doris Haggins was my beloved great grandmother. I had the pleasure of talking to her numerous times on the phone during my childhood. I've always resided in Washington DC. I enjoyed spending time with her on her 100th birthday. She told me funny stories about my Dad's(Martin Haggins) childhood. She showed me several photo albums. I gave her a picture of me to put in the album. She just held on to the picture. I was touched to see she had a picture of me other the head of her bed. I love you Grandma. I'll always remember your unconditional love and words of encouragement. Heaven couldn't wait. Well done thy good and faithful servant... well done

There's so many memories to share. I loved the family drives to Key West to visit her and Uncle Wesley. We drove down so often, on one of our trips to the keys; my baby sister ask if we were going to see uncle Key West again! Lol 😆 My fondest memory was her Centennial Celebration! She was such a Diva in her Hot Pink scarf 🧣 Family members from all over came to pay honor and tribute to our Matriarch! I love you Aunt Doris! You have left a trailblazing legacy for us to follow! Thank you for all of the prayers and love throughout the years! Sleep on and take your rest! Well done thy good and FAITHFUL servant, well done!

One of my Fondest Memories is when Aunt Doris and I took a picture and her mouth was open. She told my cousin Darlene to take another one because that one was not going to get it. Her wit and sense of humor were unmatched. The love, respect, and compassion shown for the entire family was remarkable. I will forever love this Blessed Wo m.j an of God. Well done they good and faithful servant.
