Obituary For Gerald Sipplen, Sr.

Gerald Sipplen, Sr. “Dee” was born May 8, 1964 in Quitman, Georgia to the late Nancy and Sherman Sipplen. Gerald was educated in the Brooks County School System and was a graduate of Brooks County High School. He attended Truck Driving School in Orlando, Florida.

“Dee” absolutely loved to fish, talk on the phone and drive trucks but his greatest love was no doubt his family!

On, December 13, 2020 at Lake Haven Nursing Home in Valdosta, Georgia, Gerald was called home by God and submitted to His divine will. He is resting eternally with the Lord!

He leaves to cherish his memories, Children, Marquise Sipplen, Sr. of Valdosta, GA, Gerald Sipplen, Jr. of Quitman, GA, Katori Little (Rashard) of Warner Robins, GA, Aariyon Sipplen of Warner Robins, GA, Zaniya Sipplen of Warner Robins, GA, Trey Sipplen of Hahira, GA; Ten Grandchildren: Ja’shawn Sipplen, Da’Zaria Sipplen, Jeh’Lanii Johnson, Amiya Sipplen, Mariah Sipplen, Marquise Sipplen, Jr., Ka’lear Neloms, Mackenzie Spencer, Madison Spencer, and Malcom Sharpe; A Devoted Ex-Wife, Ziena Reynolds of Quitman, GA; A longtime close friend, JoAnn Pryor of Warner Robins, GA; Siblings, Junior C. Graveside Service for Gerald Sipplen, Sr. will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Hilllcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Quitman, Georgia. Family Visitation: Friday, December 17, 2020 5:00-6:00 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel.
