Obituary For Mr. Steve Dailey

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, December 26, 2020 Time: 2:00 PM at the home of Mrs. Jennie B. Dailey, 704 Goodes Ferry Road, South Hill, VA 23970

MR. STEVE LEWIS DAILEY, son of Charlotte Marie Dailey and Marvin Greene, was born March 28, 1968 in Charlotte County, VA and sadly on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 he lamented his earthly body to walk with his heavenly Father at VCU-Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA.

He attended Randolph Henry High School and graduated from the U.S. Job Corps.

He attended Greater Hayes Grove Baptist Church.

Steve married the loved of his life, Jennie Bugg on August 31, 2013.

He was employed by Nicks Lawn Care Services for many years. He was the embodiment of love, humanity, bravery, and hard work. Steve in his spare time he enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and fishing. Steve Dailey name speaks volumes. He was an exceptional husband, son, father, grandson, cousin and loving grandfather. He was a man that was a provider. Steve loved to work hard to make sure those around him were taking care of and uplifted. His life’s work will forever be imprinted in all of our hearts.

Steve leaves to mourn his wife, Jennie Bugg Dailey of the home; 3 children: Steve Brown, Martin (Altovise) Dailey, and Felicia Tisdale; 3 step-children: Latoya (Joseph) Bugg-Beasley, Kavis (Rebecca) Bugg and Tiffany Davis; 3 grandchildren: Nolan, Micah, and Germaine Dailey; 6 step-grandchildren: Kayden Davis, Khalilah Oliver, Ajavion Bugg, Joseph Beasley, III, JaZara Beasley, and Jayla Beasley; his mother- Charlotte Marie Dailey; father- Marvin Greene; step-father- Jesse Reid; grandmother- Ruth C. Dailey; 3 sisters- Sylvia (Christopher) Carden, Ruth Ann Dailey, and Evelyn Redd; best friend and brother- Jack Clary; brother-in-law- Bobby L. (Donell) Boyd, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

My cousin Steve was indeed a truly kind, funny young man with a beautiful sense of humor. I have very fond memories of him that I will treasure. May his precious memories continue to remain in our hearts. Family, we pray that God grant you strength, peace, and comfort now and the days ahead.
