Obituary For James Hutcherson

Mr. James Hutcherson was born in Hamilton, GA on August 12, 1947 to the late Mr. Earnest Hutcherson and Mrs. Katie Bell Hutcherson.

On Thursday, December 17, 2020. James passed away at Rivertown Nursing Home in Columbus, GA. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters: Marie and Cythia and two brothers: Ernest and Clyde.

James worked for Cason Callaway Jr. for 40 years upon retiring.

James leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 50 years Minnie M. Hutchinson; four children: Lawanda, Juanita, James Jr. and Victor; eight grandchildren: Crystal, Shannon, Fred, Courtney, Adrian, Joshua, Jayana and James; eight great grandchildren; two nephews: Desean Walker and Quincy Maddox ; six sisters-in-law: Emma Hardy,Patricia (Amery) Mitchell, Gloria (Tracey) Clark, Jean Sivell, Gwen (Arial) Ward, and Francis Maddox; one brother-in-law: Anderson Smith; a cherished friend: Fred Whittaker and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be December 22, 2020 at Terry Family Funeral Home LLC 145 North College Street Hamilton, GA 31811 from 4PM-6PM

Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1PM at Mount Zion Church Hwy 219 West Point, GA.

Due to COVID 19, face coverings are REQUIRED and social distancing will be enforced.
