Obituary For Jeremy Lipscomb, Jr.

Mr. Jeremy “jay jay” Joshua Lipscomb Jr., son of Jeremy Lipscomb and Latoya Sharpe was born September 14, 2002 in Gastonia, North Carolina.

He attended Bessemer City High School until his senior year of high school. At a young age he professed his love for Jesus and joined Friendly Hill Baptist Church in Lake Wylie, South Carolina under the leadership of Apostle Doran Johnson; Jeremy fellowshipped and served the Lord on the choir.

Jeremy found his passion in music at a young age of seven and began to write lyrics, rap, and direct videos.

As a result of his generous spirit; the love for family and friends, Jeremy was loved by many. Jeremy’s influence will forever remain in the lives of all people who have known him.

On Monday December 21, 2020 in Gastonia, NC Jeremy departed this life.

He was proceeded in death by Willie & Elizabeth Sharpe, Lewis Lipscomb, and Kurious Wilson.

His life will forever be cherished by his father: Jeremy Lipscomb, Sr. of Pennsylvania, mother: Latoya Sharpe, Bessemer City, NC; brothers: Dashon Sharpe, Jermarius Lipscomb and sister: Tammy Lipscomb all of Bessemer City NC.; grandparents: Linda Lipscomb of Gastonia, Tammy ( Lee) Wilson of Gastonia, uncles: Joe (Lisa) Lipscomb, David Alexander, Markevious Lipscomb all of Gastonia, NC; aunts: Terisha Sharpe, Lashetta Sharpe, Soleta (Joseph) Wilson all of Gastonia, NC; Tiffany Lipscomb of Shelby, NC, Niece: Raelynn Sharpe and a host of cousins; many family members and close friends and a special brother: Marvin Gervin.

Walk thru viewing will be Sunday; December 27, 2020 at the funeral home from 5 until 7.

Funeral will be Monday; December 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Friendly Hill Baptist Church, Lake Wylie
