Obituary For Jessie Mae McCorvey
Mrs. Jessie Mae (Bowers) McCorvey was born October 30, 1933 to the union of the late Starling and Emma Bowers. She departed this life peacefully in her home on December 22, 2020. She was a long-time resident of Moss Point, Mississippi, and retired from Singing River Hospital after more than 30 yrs of service. She was a faithful member of Meridian St. Church of Christ in Moss Point, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Willie Lee McCorvey; her only child Clareser (Alvin) Moore; brothers, Sullivan Starling, Robert Bowers, and Garfield Baker; sisters, Luevenia Hamp, Annie Mae Baker, Emma Baggett, and Della Bowers.
The viewing will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home Chapel, 4301 Main Street, Moss Point, MS followed by an 11 am graveside service at Scranton Cemetery, 3400 Brooks Street, Pascagoula, MS
