Jack lived mostly his entire life in Greene County, after living in Atlanta for a while but returned to be with his father before his death. Growing up he had the knowledge of farming & pulpwood with his father. At a later part of his life he worked A Greene Point Rehab of Union Point. Afterwards he became a helper of the community where he could help.
He is survived by a loving and devoted mother, Mrs. Inez Foster Thornton; one brother: Johnny Thornton; three sisters: Janice (Rodney) Thornton, Denise Ford & Shawanda Champion; one nephew: Treco Lightfoot (White Plains); three nieces: Brittany & Precious Dunn (Union Point) and Sydney I. Ford (Greensboro); special cousins: Natalie E. Smith (Siloam), Naomi & Ashley Foster (Atlanta); a special auntie: Vivian Foster (Atlanta); a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1pm from the New Springfield Baptist Church 4300 Hwy 15 South, Siloam, GA.
