Obituary For Deacon Percell Harrison

Deacon Percell Harrison, age 88, of 109 Andrews Street, Norlina, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, December 28, 2020 at his residence.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 12’noon on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Manson, North Carolina. The Reverend Ralph Steed will officiate.

Deacon Harrison leaves to cherish his memories: his wife (for 62 years): Alice Downey Harrison,; his children Quinnilla Harrison Moyer (Lee) of Durham, NC, Zane Harrison of Norlina, NC, Pastor Maggie Stinnett of Norlina, NC, Warnetta Harrison of Durham, NC, Johanna Harrison of Durham, NC, Tina Martin of Clayton, NC, Percell Harrison, Jr (Banici) of Butner, NC, Allison Harrison of Cary, NC, Zenas Harrison of Norlina, NC , and Lyndel Barnes (Richard) of Raleigh, NC; twenty-four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Henrietta Steed of Norlina, NC; three brothers in-law, Phil Downey (Marie) of Richmond, VA, Ronnie Downey (Ruby) of Norlina, NC, Ricky Downey (Lavonnia) of Richmond, VA; six sisters in-law, Ann Jones (Milton) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Peggy Elliott (Carl) of Linden, NC, Margaret Alexander, Barbara Wyche (Truman), Arvella Scott (Terry), Ruby Downey, all of Norlina, NC, ; two god daughters: Reverend Cheryl Stith and Deaconess Gladys Stevenson; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Deacon Harrison may be viewed on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 12’noon until 5:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.
