OPELOUSAS - Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Elliot Jerome Donato, 53, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Father Rofinus Jas will be officiating the memorial service.

Mr. Donato leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Carla Lemelle Donato of Opelousas, LA; his mother, Shirley Donato of Opelousas, LA; one son, Jakorian Wilson of Opelousas, LA; three daughters, Tamica Lemelle, Shantel Donato and Cheyenne Donato, all of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Curtis Donato and David Donato (Ruth) of Warner Robins, GA; three sisters, Rosalind Lastrapes (Darin) and Sonja Donato, both of Opelousas, LA and Antoinette Brown (Michael) of Breaux Bridge, LA; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his father, Hamilton Joseph Donato; paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law.
