Obituary For Norma McClain

Ms. Norma Jean “Big Ace” McClain the daughter of the late James W. “Po-Boy” McClain and Aretha H. McClain was born March 19, 1965 in Brooks County, Georgia. She joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Alonzo Fudge. Ms. Norma worked in the Nursing field for 22 years and also worked as Substitute Teacher for 8 years for Brooks County Schools. Ms. Norma departed December 25, 2020 at her home in Quitman, Georgia.

Survivors include a Loving Mother, Mrs. Aretha H. McClain of Quitman, GA; Nine Sisters and Two Brothers, Cynthia McClain (Jerome Joyce) of Quitman, GA, Coretta McKinnon (U.S. Retired Navy Jerome McKinnon) of Winder, GA, Kelly McClain of Quitman, GA, Sandra McClain-Jones of Orlando, FL, Trena McClain, Dedicated Sister of Quitman, GA, Debbie McClain of Quitman, GA, Charese McClain (Akbar Washington) of Valdosta, GA, Tonya McClain of Jacksonville, FL, Daphne McClain (Tavoris A. Johnson, Sr.) of Valdosta, GA, Fredrick J. McClain (Ebony Collier) of Columbus, GA and Kenneth L. McClain of Quitman, GA: Aunts Mrs. Christine Holmes (Autley Holmes, Deceased) of Valdosta, GA, Mrs. Rudene Scott (Joseph Scott Deceased) of Winter Haven, FL, Ms. Nell Cody Deceased; Uncles, Deacon Jack Holmes (Rachel Holmes Deceased) of Quitman, GA and Mr. Charles McClain of Lakeland FL; Four Nephews raised in the home, Solomon “P-Nut” McClain (Candace McClain), Thomas “Budda” McClain (Shaquila McClain), Marcus McClain, Tavoris “AJ” Johnson Jr.; Nieces, LaNisha Head, Keyshunna McKinnon, Kayla McKinnon, Tamara Jackson, Camaya Lyles, Kaleigh Davis, and Ameria Washington; Great Niece, Michelle “Juicy” McClain; Great Nephews, JT McClain, Thomas McClain Jr., Braylen McClain and a Special Friend, Ms. Rutina Davis of Quitman, GA.

Funeral Service for Ms. Norma J. McClain will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the BTW Funeral Services’ Chapel. Family Visitation: Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 6:00-7:00 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel. Burial: Second Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
