Although Lloyd was African-American and I Caucasian, I grew up with Lloyd and called him my "brother". He was a brother in every way. I could always depend on him to help me in whatever my need was. Lloyd was a good man and well respected in Crockett County. He was a leader and was named Crockett County's Man of the year. When there was a need, Lloyd was first to be there. He was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed in our County. I loved Lloyd and will greatly miss him. I extend my sympathy to Doris and all of the family. RIP Lloyd!!

The best friend that anyone could ever have. He will truly be missed. His laughter, comments,"He got another foot" always made me crack up when I remember him making this statement. He taught me to drive, and told me never to drive slow. Well as he was doing traffic patrol on 88 hwy, he caught me flying past Johnny's Store. When approached my window, seeing who I was, he had to laugh. I said, "well you told me never to drive slow. All he could do was laugh, and tell me to go on and drive carefully.
