Obituary For Isabell Shields

Mrs. Isabell Robinson Shields entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. Isabell was the daughter of the late Norman and Gertrude Williams Robinson and the late Heyward Duncan, Sr. She was born March 11, 1939 in Lancaster County South Carolina. She was married to the late Willie Shields.

Isabell was a dedicated member of Salem AME Zion Church. Isabell received her formal education in the Lancaster County School System.

Isabell retired from Springs Memorial Hospital after thirty years of service.

Isabell was preceded in death by her son, Lee Roger Shields; one sister, Dorothy Ann Foster and three brothers, Terry Robinson, Sr., Frank Robinson and Heyward Duncan, Jr.

Left to cherish two sons, Willie James Shields, Heath Springs, SC., and Pastor Randy Truesdale (Rhonda Q.), Upper Marlboro, Md.; two daughters, Brenda Shields, and Cynthia Ann Twitty (Minister Jonathan) both of Heath Springs, SC; two grandchildren reared in the home, James Naticole Miller and her faithful granddaughter Alisha Ann Grant (Charleton, Sr.); six other grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Salem AME Zion Church in Heath Springs, SC. officiated by Reverend Claudette K. Felder.
