Mrs. Wheeler leaves to cherish her memories: seven sons, Samuel (Lorena) Wheeler, Jr., Ricky (Lakayshia) Wheeler, Raymond (Linda) Wheeler, Ronald Angelle, Donald Angelle and Mark Angelle, all of Church Point, LA and Charles (Melinda) Wheeler of Lafayette, LA; four daughters, Norma J. Wheeler, Virginia W. Cormier (Donald), Leola W. Lewis and Bolita W. Citizen (Felton), all of Church Point, LA; one brother, Richard Angelle of Lafayette, LA; thirty-eight grandchildren; seventy great grandchildren; twenty-five great great grandchildren; four in-laws, Mary Angelle of Lafayette, LA, Tatty Guillory and Mary B. Angelle, both of Church Point, LA and Lloyd Landry of Cankton, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Samuel Wheeler, Sr.; her parents, Virginia Carter and Eugene Angelle; two children, Clifton Angelle and Carrie Richard; and eight siblings, Delores Angelle, Violia Angelle, Evelyn Williams, Curtis Angelle, Charles Angelle, Laurent Angelle, Margie Landry and Joann Angelle.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church.
