Mrs. Mary Christine Buckner, 79, of Elizabethtown, died on January 1, 2021 at Signature Health Care in Elizabethtown.

Mrs. Buckner was the daughter of the late Buford and Josephine Gowdy Furmon. She was a member of St. August Catholic Church and worked as a restaurant cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Furmon; brothers Joe Adams, Charles Furmon, James E. Furmon and John Henry Furmon; sisters, Ruth Ann Ties, Edna Jackson and Mary Phillips.

Survivors include three daughters, Levena Wilson of Millsboro, DE, May Helen Tolson of Stevens, MD and Stephanie Hagan of Louisville, KY; one granddaughter, Myeshia Hardin and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 12 noon Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am also on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
