The man. The legend. Known to family, friends, and loved ones as “Railroad” or “Abbit”, Monrail Lashun Maddox was a devoted family man that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. A man of many names but was respected, loved, and known by many which speaks of his notoriety and his love for people. Monrail was a force to be reckoned with who didn’t take no for an answer and frankly always got his way - but it was always laughter and making jokes with everyone around him.

He is the child to Brenda Maddox and Roland Odom. Family and friends are blessed to have learned many valuable lessons from Monrail during his life, among them: his constant reminders and heart of love to always tell you that he loved you every time he spoke with you along with the words “be good or I’m going to getcha” to embark on his love for the ones the truly cared about.

Monrail was a graduate of Burns High School where he found passion and excelled in wrestling, earning him multiple victories and recognition. He later attended Cleveland Community College where his focus of study was Broadcasting and Production Technology. He worked and took interest in construction at Carolina CAT Construction for many years, which suited and complimented his fast-paced, forward thinking, friendly spirit.
