Obituary For Mattie Carmichael

Funeral ceremony for Mattie " Gram" Heard Carmichael, 86, of Lincoln, Alabama will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the AFM Church of God Campground with Elder Louis Orr, officiating.

Burial will immediately follow the services in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Lincoln Alabama. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Shirley Walker, Dorothy Carmichael, Ella Swain, Norma Terrell, Rosetta (Louis) Orr, Nadine (Grendal) Bett, Rita (Wille) Cross, Nelda Carmichael, Rachel Carmichael, Jeffrey (Sharolyn) Carmichael; 27 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchildren; her loving siblings; Minnie Thornton, Howard Heard, Jr; Edna (Grover) Gilford, Charlie Heard, Willie Lewis Heard, Debra Smith, Willete Heard, Timothy (Sharon) Heard, Bobbie Heard, Betty Heard, Sister-in-laws; Early Reed, Louise Carmichael, Tearsa Carmichael, Nellie Carmichael, Annie Joe Willis, Edna Skipwith; brother in law, Robert Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Nathaniel Carmichael Sr; parents, Howard and Nelsie Mae Heard; siblings, Maxine Carmichael, Evelyn Smith, Brenda Collins, Eugene Heard, and Johnny Reed.
