Obituary For William Thornton Jr.

William H. Thornton, Jr., 40, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Harrisburg. He was born in Harrisburg; son of Avis Sloane Wallace and William H. Thornton, Sr. In addition to his parents, William, Jr. leaves to celebrate his life; his daughters, Justice Totton and Justiane Thornton; his sisters, Nakia Sloane-Ritter, Shaunté Sloane-Ambush; Toni and Helen Thornton; his brothers, Jesse, Vaughn, Isaiah, Master, Justin and Jayson Thornton; his stepfather, Keith Lawson and a host of other relatives and friends. On Saturday, January 2nd, his life will be celebrated in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with Public Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until Noon followed by Private Family Services. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and six feet social distancing for all attendees. Live Streaming of the service will be available on Major H.
