Churchyard services will be held at Canaan Galilee Baptist Church, Tuesday, January 5th, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with Mask and Social Distancing. Burial will be held in Lone Star Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Monday, from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.
Deacon Howard was born in Jefferson County to the parentage of the late Roosevelt Howard, Sr. and Fannie Lane Howard. He attended Jefferson County School system and was a dedicated member of Canaan Galilee Baptist Church. Otis retired a from Georgia Tennessee as a Control Room/Machine Operator after 30 plus years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Edna Jackson Howard, Louisville, GA; his children, Reco (Mary) Howard, Carlton Brown and Pamela (Carlos) McMullen, Atlanta, GA, Shirley Williams, Thomson, GA, Sandra Williams, Wrens, GA; siblings, Betty (Albert) Thomas, Augusta, GA, Willie Howard, Tacoma, Washington, Myles (Rose) Howard, Louisville, GA, Cleveland (Monica) Howard, Greenville, N.C. , Mary (Jack) Johnson, Wadley, GA, James (Pauline) Howard, Jerome Howard, Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Shyheim Howard, Aaliya (Raphael) Sims, Carlton Brown, Jr. ; one great Grandchild, Zaci Sims; brother-in-law, Florence Davis, Louisville, GA; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
