Obituary For Mr. Bennie Jones, Sr.

age 80 of Mobile, died 1/4/21 peacefully at his residence surrounded by family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday January 15, 2021 from the Bell- Miller Memorial Chapel of Samuel Jackson Mortuary from 9:00am until 11:15 AM .

The family will receive friends from 10:30AM for one hour until the funeral cortege leaves for burial at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL at 12:30PM.

I remember Mr. Jones from visiting my cousing who lived across the street form them . He was always a sweet and caring man. Praying for you all, Jr. And the whole Jones family. God will bring you comfort.

I was blessed to meet Mr. Jones during his son's wedding a few years ago, his eyes told me that he was an amazing man and a blessing to all who came to know him. When I met Mr Jones it was after his first stroke, so we never had a chance for conversation although I saw him several times during family gatherings. The look he always gave me and personality I got from his children told me all I needed to know about him, his essence, he was very good man and a great father.
