Obituary For Mrs. Jennie Eva Garnett Suber

AUGUSTA, Georgia—Mrs. Jennie Eva Garnett Suber, age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Augusta University Medical Center surrounded by her daughter and grandchildren.

Jennie was born on December 31, 1941 to the late Dollie Lamb Garnett and James Garnett in Columbia County, Evans, Georgia.

She was a graduate of Blanchard High School and Jacksonville Business School, Jacksonville GA. She was a member of Greater Mount Canaan Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mother’s Board. She retired from the Charlie Norwood Veterans Administration Medical Center after 29 years.

She was joined in matrimony on April 14, 1972 to Fry Watson Suber Jr. whom she loved dearly until he departed this life on July 10, 1975. Also, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kevla Devonna Watkins; niece, Susie Trammell Williams; and one nephew, Frank Trammell. She leaves to cherish loving memories one daughter, Eva Michelle Watkins; sister; Annie Ruth Trammell; three grandchildren, Jordan Watkins, Jasmine Shaw, and Kelvonna Allen (Justin Betts); two stepsons; Fry Watson Suber and Travis Suber, one great grandchild, Demarcus Fikes; five nieces and nephews, Edwin Trammell, Kerry Trammell (Jackie), Torence Trammell (Joyce), Sherri Johnson (Wesley) and Shirri Trammell; two sisters-in-law; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Janu- ary 9, 2021 12:00p.m. at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens, 3666 Deans Bridge Road, Hephzibah, Georgia 30815.

Viewing will be take place on Friday, January 8, 2021, 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the mortuary.
