Roger and family, I am so sorry to learn of your dear father's passing. What a man. He was tough but patient and kind- even with new math. I loved him and your step mom. His devotion to teaching and the school was part of what made Morven so special. Thank you my friends. May God bless and keep you all always. Minta Mitchell Elder

The Williams family have so many fond memories of you Uncle Roger. You were a kind, supportive and a joy to be around. To his children, we share in your sadness as we, too, remember him as our favorite uncle. Death ends a life, but not a relationship. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs, Tamaria Williams Barnes

I don't think I have ever been any sadder than today when I learned of the passing of my dear friend and mentor Mr. Roger Scott. I was a young teacher starting out when I met him. I taught next door to him for several years and he taught me so much about teaching school! I think I probably went to him daily with questions and for help! I will always be grateful for his help and friendship. Even after we both stopped teaching , every time I ran into him he greeted me with a great big hug and I never stopped telling him how much I appreciated him and treasured knowing him. Fran Edwards
