Obituary For Mother Lois Campbell

Mother Lois Campbell was born on June 22, 1936 in Halls, Tennessee to the late John Roundtree and Almetia Eison. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was a faithful member of Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years until God called her home. In her years of serving at Zion Hope, Lois served on the Usher Board, Pastorโ€™s Aid Board, and sang in the choir. This life of dutiful service eventually lead to Lois being named the Mother of the church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Robert Lawrence.

Mother Campbell was employed by Sixty Minutes Cleaners and the Saint Lucie County School Board. She also enjoyed listening to her gospel music and sermons on WJFP 91.1 each and every day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, siblings (including her twin brother), three grandsons, two godchildren, and three sons-in-law.

To cherish her gracious memories she leaves behind her seven children, Linda Hall(Willie) of Halls, TN, Ivory Holland of Milwaukee, WS, Isaac Smith, Jr., Carolyn Campbell Jackson, Michael Campbell, Marvin Campbell, and Alice Campbell Parks(Charles) all of Fort Pierce, FL; 19 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; three nieces, Robbie, Clara, and Lucille of Wisconsin; goddaughters, Constance McGill-Griffin, Tonya Strowbridge, Angelina Ventura, and Sulema Rodriguez; godsons, George Harrington, Dean Porter, and David Zachery; devoted co-worker and friend, Annie Lois Clark; friends, Louise Branom and Hazel Laster; devoted and faithful church member and friend, Faye Reynolds; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.

Public viewing for Mother Lois Campbell will take place on Friday, January 8, 2020 at Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL between the hours of 4:00pm and 7:00pm. Graveside services will convene on Saturday, January 9, 2020 at 1:00pm at Riverview Memorial Park.
