Obituary For Amy Ware Cannon

Public Viewing for Amy Cannon, 84, of Loachapoka, AL, will be Sunday, January 10, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cannon, daughter of the late Mr. Tom and Mrs. Florence Wagner Ware, was born on June 25, 1936 in Lee County, Alabama. She departed this life at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Willie Cannon and a son, Howard Cannon.

At an early age, she confessed Christ and united with the Mr. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Loachapoka, Alabama. She later relocated to Detroit, Michigan, however she returned to her home in Loachapoka, Alabama in 2009 to be closer to her family. She enjoyed reading, writing, and watching game shows on television.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one sister, Elaine Hall of Loachapoka, AL; two devoted nieces, Linda Arnold of Tuskegee, AL and Beatrice Harris of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
