His service is 11:00 AM, Friday, January 22, 2021 at New Bern Memorial Cemetery 1112 Chelsea Rd. New Bern.

He is survived by his son, Timmy Hills, New Bern; daughters, Sheila Mercer, New Bern, Fay Hills, Lakeland, FL and Kiouna Hill, Greensboro; eleven grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Masks are required.

Mr. Coley has been a family friend for a long time. Growing up you tend to take things, family, and friends for granted because they are always there, Mr. Coley was always there. When I needed guidance or my path was unclear, he would come out of nowhere to help make my crooked path straight. Mr. Coley, you will be sorely missed. Rest well. Jamie Thomas
