Obituary For Robert E. Lofton

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., Westhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 3580 Robinson Street, Jackson, MS 39209.

Robert Earl Lofton was born on January 1, 1958, in Copiah, County to Annie Olivia Lofton and Essie Liddell. He was the fifth of thirteen children. Robert Earl Lofton attended Utica Consolidated High School. After high school Robert started his career working in roofing. Robert departed this life on January 7, 2021. He joins in heavenly bliss his mother, Annie Lofton; a wonderful father, Essie Liddell; one sister, Diane Covett; two brothers: Willie Fred Lofton and Cornell Lofton. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Faye Diane Williamson Lofton; one son, Robert Lofton, Jr.; three daughters: Tammy Nelson, Tamika Finley, and Kenisha Smith (James); four sisters: Pauline Lofton of Jackson, MS, Bernice Fulgham of Jackson, MS, Lorene Terrell of Jackson, MS and Lori Lofton of Ocean Springs; four brothers: Larry Lofton (Angie) of Jackson, MS, Joe Louis Lofton of Utica, MS, Earl Lee Lofton (Mary) and Darin Lofton (Nakia) of Byram; 10 grandchildren, three great grand children; and a host of other relatives and friends
