Obituary For Bob "Blackie" Penn

Bob “Blackie” Penn, 87 of Bowie, TX went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 10th, 2021 in a hospital in Fort Worth, TX.

Bob was born November 28, 1933 in Electra, TX to Edward and Aletha (Bailey) Penn. He married June Wells on April 7th, 1972 in Waurika, OK. He was a truck driver for many companies around Bowie. He enjoyed fishing and going to crafting trade shows with his wife. Bob loved his family dearly and will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents and step-son Byron Reed.

Bob is survived by his wife June Penn of Bowie; son Ed Carter and wife Jane of Abilene, TX; daughters Lee Anne Banks and husband Glen of Los Angeles, CA, Beverly Colby and husband Al of Abilene, Bonita is Penn of Norwalk, CA, Wanda Faulkner of Dubuque, IA, and Laura Harrison and husband Jay of Aliso Vejo, CA; step-son Floyd Reed and wife Rhonda of Bowie; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
