Naomi Carter, 76, of Madison, NC, transitioned from this life on January 11, 2021. There will be no public viewing. The family will have a private graveside service, Monday January 18, at 2:00 p.m. LIVESTREAM WILL BE AVAILABLE

She will be remembered as a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Sorry to here of the passing of Naomi (Tush) my neighbor for several years here in Temple Hills MD.We both taught school in WAshington,DC We would arrive back to our aparts. about the same time & share about our day.The good & the bad.We both discovered that we were from N.C. and both attended HBCU schools. We stayed in touch after her move back to NC.Lost touch after her health issues.She was a dedicated teacher. Rest in peace Tush. Condolences to her family Stay safe & blessed

I worked with Naomi (Tush) for a number of years at Draper Elementary School in Washington, DC. We were very close friends. After Tuch moving back to her home town we keep in contact we each other, a month did not pass without speaking with each other. She will truly be missed, R.I.P. my friend. Your Friend Katrina.

So Sorry for your loss, I went to school at Charles Drew with Naomi she was in my brother class and sung the Choir. Naomi was a sweet and humble person. We then cross path at the Nursing Home in Eden and I would often stop in to see here and her spirit was always up lifting.
