Obituary For Gloria Holmes

Gloria Renae Holmes, 52, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at home surrounded by family.

Renae, as she was called, was born in Harrisburg and a graduate of Harrisburg's William Penn Vocational Technical High School. She leaves to celebrate her life, her children, Taruajay Hinton, Sr., Karmella Philippe and DeAngelo Brown; her two grandchildren, Karina and Taruajay, Jr.; her parents, Rev. Henry and Evang. Diane (Mobley) Lewis; She was preceded in death by her father, William Franklin Holmes whom she loved dearly. Renae's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 12 in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with a Public Viewing from 10:00 a.m. until Noon and Funeral Services at 12 Noon for family due to Covid-19. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and six feet social distancing for all attendees.
