Obituary For Barbara Walker

Barbara Ann Walker, 79, of Highspire, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Elmo and Georgia Myers; retired from Penn National Insurance Co. with 30 years of service and a member of First Zion Baptist Church. Barbara was the widow of Samuel Walker and leaves to celebrate her life; her son, Michael; her daughters, Georgianna (Robert), Rosalie, Rosalind, Tracy, Donna (John) and Doree; her seven grandchildren; her eight great-grands and a host of other relatives and friends. Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with Visitation 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and six feet social distancing for all attendees.
