If you ever wanted to feel loved, sit it Aunt Brenda's presence. When she looked at you, you could see she loved and accepted you for who you are with no judgement. Her smile could call down a ragging bull. Her laugh could brighten the dullest mood. She is my cousin by blood but her love made her my Aunt. Forever, Londa

My prayers and love for God's comfort goes out to the family. I was a quiet person when I first met Brenda. She would always tease me and tried to get me to be talkative. She could always make me laugh. We had great times together playing spades and just hanging out together. I love her and will truly miss her. Twiggy

Family, I have so many great memories I could share of Brenda, but one of my favorite was the summer Brenda bought Samatha to Spartanburg from Washington, DC to meet the family. She was so proud and protective of her baby girl! I held the baby and put her in the bed with me, rocking her softly until she fell asleep. The next thing I knew, Brenda was shaking me awake because Baby Samatha was not in the bed, but we could hear her crying! Suddenly, we realized that somehow the baby was stuck between the bed and the wall. Being a silly teen, I started laughing so hard I couldn't pull the baby back up into the bed. Meanwhile, Brenda was so angry and upset with me, all she could do was stand by the bed and cry. Don't worry Sam, some way, some how we finally retrieved you safely back into the bed and I had a lot of making up to your mom before she forgave me (lol)!

Our family will not be the same without Brenda but she will always be remembered in our hearts. I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Ps 121:1,2
