Obituary For Donnel P. Franklin

Mr. Donnel Preston Franklin, 55, of Hodgenville, KY died on January 13, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

Mr. Franklin was a native of Glasgow, KY and the son of the late Rev. Ollie and Louise Franklin. He was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and a maintenance worker.

Survivors include one son, Preston Burton; one daughter, Whitney Franklin (Jeremy); two step-sons Shawn Hahn and Dominique Burton (Christina); one step-daughter Christina Perkins (Jake); five brothers, Wayne Franklin (Carolyn), Allen Franklin, Randy Franklin (Christy), James Franklin (Nicki) and Michael Franklin(Tiffany); two sisters, Kathy Harris (Marshall) and Lynn Ditto (Elliott); his fiancee, Regina Burton and three grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, January 18, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Hubbard Cemetery in Hodgenville.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2021 also at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.
