Obituary For Willie James "Tat" Williams

Graveside service for Willie Williams, 67, of Auburn, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Westview Cemetery, 700 Westview Drive, Auburn, AL 36830, Pastor Leon Marshall will officiate.

Mr. Williams, who passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL, was born December 18, 1953 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Public viewing for Mr. Williams will be Friday, January 15, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Kajun Stinson, Jermel Stinson both of Auburn, AL and Charlisha Stinson of Tuskegee, AL; one granddaughter, Jakiyah Stinson of Auburn, AL; five sisters, Belinda (Greg) Walker, Rosemary Gary, Venerra Gary all of Auburn, AL, Vickey (Marvin) Williams of Dothan, AL and Pamela Drake of Afghanistan; five brothers, Arthur (Stella) Williams of Newnan, GA, Frank Walker, Franklin Gary, Jr., both of Auburn, AL, Jerry (Sandy) Walker of Italy, TX and Gregory Walker of Syracuse, NY; two uncles, John T. (Florence) Love and Bennie (Patricia) Love both of Loachapoka, AL; one sister-in-law, Patricia Ann Williams of Auburn, AL; two devoted friends, Freda Morgan of Phenix City, AL and Ronnie Drake of Auburn, AL; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

CDC recommends that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
