Maggie J. Odom, daughter of the late Stephen Lee Odom Sr. and Rometa Royal Odom, was born January 22, 1950 in Barnwell, South Carolina. She departed this life at Emory Hillandale Hospital in Lithonia, Georgia on Friday, January 15, 2021. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined the Union Baptist Church in Barnwell, South Carolina. Maggie was educated in the Aiken County School System. She was a 1968 graduate of Martha Schofield High School in Aiken, South Carolina. Proceeding her in death: one brother, Fred Odom; one sister-in-law, Lou Amye Coleman Odom and one-brother-in-law, John Benson. Maggie leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Mary Odom Mahone of Lithonia, Georgia and Betty Benson of San Jose, California; two brothers, Stephen Odom Jr. of Greenwood, South Carolina and Sylvester Odom of Decatur, Georgia; One sister-in-law, Judith Ann Childs Odom; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and other relatives.
