Mrs. Janie Pinckney Smith, 88, formerly of John's Island, SC entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 10, 2021. Mrs. Smith was the beloved mother of, Nathaniel Burt (Alethia) Smith, Audray (the late Robert) Smith, and Demetria (Bernard) Mann; loving aunt of, Alonzo (Jaunita) Pinckney, Evelyn (Henry) Pinckney, and Charles (Mary) Pinckney; eldest cousin, Viola "Pink" Legare. The viewing for Mrs. Smith will be held this evening Friday, January 22, 2021, from 3 pm until 7 pm at Walker's Mortuary Chapel. The Home-Going Service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Island Memorial Gardens, Wine Road, John's Island, SC.
