Ms. Carrie Jean Cox, age 71, of Athens GA, passed on January 7, 2021.

A viewing for Ms.Cox will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Gardenview Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 1:00 p.m. at The Evergreen Memorial Park, Athens, GA

Survivors include her son, Michael (Tawanda)Cox; sisters: Rachel Callaway, Mary (Ben)Armstrong , Felicia (Barron)Smith; brother; Melvin (Helen)Cox; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends .
