Obituary For Luther Greer, Sr.

Luther Greer, Sr., age 88, passed away January 18, 2021 at Nashville VA Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Susie Ann Greer.

Survivors include a devoted and loving family, Son, Luther (Vickie) Greer, Jr.; Daughter, Mary Ann McClain; Grandchildren, one granddaughter he raised Tashi McClain, September and August Greer; Special nephew from an early age Chris Greer; Sisters, Christine King, Louise Hays, Lorene Wade, and Mary Thomas. A host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a walk through visitation Saturday January 30, 2021 from 12:00 Noon-1:30 PM at Bradley Creek M.B. Church, 9014 Bradley Creek Rd., Milton, TN, 37118, with a graveside service to follow, 2:00 PM, Gaines Cemetery, Ball Park Rd., Milton, TN, Pastor Mario Halmon eulogist, Rev. Greg McKnight officiant.

Please keep the Greer family in your thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Luther, Mrs. Greer were the best neighbors anyone could ever ask for (and Chris). We are praying that Gods peace be with the family. They will certainly be missed.

Mr. Luther and Mr. and Mrs. Greer and his family welcome me in their home. I visited with Mrs. Greer brother and my sister one summer. We had a great time singing and listing to gospel music. I pray for much joy and peace for his family.
