Obituary For Robert Eugene Jones

Robert E. Jones at 70 years old passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22nd, at Bellevue Cemetery in Bellevue, Texas with Pastor Mark Lassater officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21st, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, Texas.

Robert was born October 17, 1950 to Jacob T. Jones Sr. and Eulas Jean Allison/Jones. As a young man he worked on the highway crew building Texas highways. Robert, his Dad, and brother established their own wholesale grain company in 1968 where he was Co-Owner and Operator of Jones Grain Co. In 1997 he retired from the grain company to Co-Own and Operate the Family Jones Cattle Ranch with his Mom. This was his occupation till his death. On April 6, 1974 Robert married Bonita Parr Jones. Robert was an excellent Husband to Bonita, wonderful Father to his five children, loving Grandfather to his 8 grandchildren and a great Friend to all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by, his wife, Bonita of Bellevue, TX; children Jacob Dwight Jones of Bowie, TX, Jennifer Fenoglio and husband Chase of Nocona, TX, Thomas Eugene Jones and wife Kendra of Bellevue, TX, Misty Grace and husband John of Keller, TX and Katherine Jones of Bellevue, TX; grandchildren Aubrey Thomas (Rowdy) Wade of Bowie, TX, Savannah Kay Wade and Caleb Duwayne Fenoglio of Nocona, TX, Ryan Thomas Jones and Kendall Lane Jones of Bellevue, TX, Kenzie Elizabeth Grace and Jacob Barrett Grace of Keller, TX, and Colt Newton Boner of Bellevue, TX; brother Jacob T. Jones Jr. of Vashti, TX; sisters Mary Ann Sellars of Henrietta, TX, Glenda Jeannine Hanson and husband Jesse of Bowie, TX, and Donna Jo Howell and husband Chris of Tyler, TX; brothers-in-law Charles Parr Jr. and wife Brenda of Bowie, TX and T.A. Parr and wife Karen of Bowie, TX; Sisters-in-law Charlene Parr of Bowie, TX and Dana Parr Edwards of Bowie, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Robert to the Bellevue Ex-Students Association at 601 West Wichita St. Henrietta, TX 76365 c/o Kathy Gregory.
